Victito - FAQ's

Membership applications

Victito welcomes applications from all types of people who are either currently experiencing work place challenges or who would just like the peace of mine of having the support should it ever be needed. Our member levels can be found on our membership page on our website

Membership fees?

Membership subscriptions are £14 per month.   If you buy a year’s subscription in advance, we will reduce this by 10% equal to £12.60 per month. Membership of Victito giving access to member services is conditional upon the payment of the appropriate membership fee. The fees quoted are for individual membership only.

You may make a one-off payment for a year’s membership by credit or debit card or an annual direct debit payment. We reserve the right to increase our membership fees on an annual basis and updates will be sent to you and placed on our website.

Our membership provides members with a great deal.   It provides our members with reassurance that should they have a workforce issue they will be covered for legal assistance and our employee assistance scheme and along with other member benefits.   For this reason, when you subscribe to us this has to be for a minimum of a year to ensure you are fully covered.  Membership subscription will be automatic.  You may choose to cancel your membership upon yearly renewal, but we hope you wouldn’t want to.  If you think that your subscription is not value for money, or you are thinking of leaving us for other reasons, we would like to you to talk to us. contact us

I have a workplace issue now.   Can I access Victito’s services?

We call this initial immediate access entry.   Non-members are welcome to access our services however our services will be chargeable at a very competitive daily rate and we would also expect you to subscribe to our membership on the terms above.

Do I have to enter my payment details?

Yes.  This means that your subscription will always be up to date and you are covered always.   You may cancel at any time although we would like you to talk to us if you think you are not getting a good deal. contact us

Membership cards

Victito does not automatically issue membership cards however, members can opt to receive one by logging into our website at the point of joining or renewal

Membership renewals

Your membership will become eligible for renewals fees one year following your original joining or renewal payment. Your membership will be continued unless a written cancellation (via letter or email) is received at least two weeks before your renewal date.

The amount due from you in respect of the next payment year will be included in your renewals notification prior to the end of your membership year. If you pay by direct debit, fees will be taken at the new rate unless we receive notice of change of membership or cancellation.

Can I see the members’ area without joining?

We understand that some people will want to check things out before they commit.   We have therefore outlined examples of what you will find in our members’ area: legal support access, networking forum, employee assistance program, etc. You will need to join us before you are able to access our members areas.

Unpaid subscription fees

Victito is a not for profit organisation and unpaid subscription fees therefore impact directly on our ability to plan and provide services for our members. Consequently, Victio reserves the right to take necessary steps to recover unpaid subscription fees, including legal fees. In any circumstances where the subscription fees remain unpaid following the due date for payment, Victito reserves the following rights:

  1. To demand immediate payment of any outstanding sums due
  2. To withdraw the facility to make subsequent payments by instalment
  3. To charge an administration fee of £25 plus any costs of recovery
  4. To add any interest to any outstanding amounts at 4% above the Bank of England base rate
  5. To cancel your membership

If you anticipate any problems with the payment of your subscription, please contact us at the earliest opportunity to discuss. In particular, please ensure that you contact us if you intend to cancel your Direct Debit instruction and/or use another form of payment otherwise Victito will incur bank charges for seeking a Direct Debit payment without an active mandate.

If you have asked us to collect from a specific account and our request is returned to the bank as ‘unpaid’ on more than 3 occasions, we will ask you for details of another bank account from which Victito can successfully collect your payment and reserve the right to pass on any administration charges that may have been incurred as a result. You agree that any outstanding amounts on your membership account must be cleared on termination and for the avoidance of doubt, before you can be reinstated as a member of Victito.

Membership reinstatements

Depending on how long you have been away, and the grade that you wish to rejoin at, there are different requirements and fees for reinstating your membership. Please contact us for more information.

Memberships cancellations

You can cancel your membership at any time however, your membership is for one year and Victito do not provide refunds in any circumstances. Your membership will automatically be cancelled if we do not receive payment from you and future reinstatement may incur a fee.

What’s the next stage of development for the Victito?

Over the next few months our focus will be on ensuring:

  • our members get the best service,
  • we continue to build our membership portfolio and profile
  • we continue to do horizon scanning to make sure we are up-to-date on all employment related laws and/or activities that could affect our members
  • we continue to work on the ideas we have about providing support during difficult times for our existing members.
  • We continue to further develop our member offer and many more.

I think Victito is a great idea and I want to help.   What can I do?

We think it’s a great idea too.   Thank you for your offer of support.   There are several things that would be useful.

  • Please talk to everyone you know. Tweet about us @victito and join our Facebook page.   For every person you introduces to Victitio who goes on to become a Victitio member, you will be entitle to a discounted rate voucher code. Encourage colleagues to join us too.
  • As we are developing our services we will need help – sometimes from people with specific skills and we will advertise these in the opportunities board. Please let us know about what you do and encourage other people to respond to these adverts too.
  • We want your feedback. If there’s something that we need to hear then please tell us.   Sometimes we will ask for specific feedback from our members and we’d like everyone to respond but there will be times when we don’t know we need feedback!
  • From time to time as we set up new services for members we will want to put together a panel of users. This is invaluable for us to ensure we shape our services to the needs of our members.

Who owns Victito?

Victito is set up as a private limited company.   It is made up of five partners, who believed that there was very little available for employees to safeguard their interests in the event of a workplace issue.   They are passionate about ensuring that employees who find themselves in a difficult place at work have the best advice and support possible.  They believe this is the right thing to do and they came together to design an affordable solution for employees through a membership approach.   They are happy to chat if you want to know more.   Please contact them directly. contact us
